The Keys Cross Country Competitions

Sonning CE Primary School recently hosted the third of its termly cross country events, open to all schools in The Keys Academy Trust. 

Sonning Primary cross country event organiser Mr Luis and PE Lead Miss Moore said: “We could not be prouder of all pupils who took part in the recent cross-country event. The children’s sporting values were outstanding; encouraging one another, celebrating the success of their own schools and others, as well as displaying incredible determination in their races.”

The pupils described the event as “the most fun ever” and “tiring, but worth it”! Each team well and truly battled it out in each of their races and their perseverance paid off, with Sonning CE Primary coming 1st place in a number of races and bringing home the overall points trophy. A massive well done and congratulations to all who took part.

These events would not be possible without the organisation and support from teachers, coaches and parents, so we would like to thank everyone involved for providing our children with these memorable opportunities.
