Feb 13 2025

We are delighted to share that St Nicholas Church of England Primary School has received an excellent report in its recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). The inspection highlighted the school’s commitment to its Christian vision - ‘Laying firm foundations to believe and achieve’, which is deeply embedded in all aspects of school life.

The report praised the school for its strong values of respect, honesty, courage, and kindness, which underpin daily interactions and support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal growth. Collective worship was identified as a key strength, bringing the school community together in meaningful reflection and spiritual development.

The inspectors also commended the school’s outward-looking culture, where pupils actively engage in discussions about justice and responsibility, demonstrating empathy and a deep understanding of social issues. Additionally, the school’s commitment to high-quality Religious Education (RE) ensures that pupils gain confidence in exploring their own beliefs while respecting the worldviews of others.

St Nicholas’ dedication to wellbeing, supported by The Keys Academy Trust and the governing body, was also recognised. The school fosters a nurturing environment where both pupils and staff feel valued and supported.

We are incredibly proud of St Nicholas CE Primary School for this well-deserved recognition and the impact it continues to have on its pupils, staff, and the wider community. Congratulations to the entire school team for their dedication and hard work!
