Promoting Staff Wellbeing

Jan 20 2025

The Keys Academy Trust is proud to announce the successful conclusion of our Staff Wellbeing Festival 2025, a week-long event dedicated to supporting and enhancing staff wellbeing. Held from Monday, 13 January, the festival offered a diverse array of sessions and activities designed to promote physical health, mental clarity, and overall happiness among our team.

With sessions ranging from dynamic Zumba classes and watercolour painting workshops to mindfulness practices and practical wellbeing talks, the festival catered to a wide variety of interests.

The festival also fostered a sense of community and connection, bringing staff together to share experiences and ideas in a supportive environment.

Benefits to Staff

The Wellbeing Festival was not just about participation—it was about empowering our staff to prioritise their health and wellbeing. Feedback from attendees has highlighted the positive impact, with many sharing how the sessions provided practical tools to improve daily habits, reduce stress, and find moments of calm in their busy lives.

The Keys recognises that the wellbeing of our staff is essential to creating a thriving educational environment. By investing in the health and happiness of our team, we aim to nurture a positive culture that benefits not only staff but also the pupils and communities we serve.

Looking Ahead

Building on this momentum, we look forward to introducing more initiatives throughout the year to continue this important conversation and provide ongoing support for our dedicated staff.

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success, from the organisers and facilitators to every participant who took time for their own wellbeing. Together, we are building a culture where health, happiness, and personal growth are celebrated.
