Celebrating Community Partnership
Oct 18 2024
On Thursday 17 October 2024, The Keys Academy Trust, held our seventh Annual Celebration Service. Every year, this important event is hosted by one of our schools. This year, it was the turn of Crazies Hill C of E Primary School. We were kindly welcomed by Reverend Steve Turville in the picturesque St Mary’s Church Wargrave on a beautiful, sunny, autumnal morning.
We were graced by honoured guests, including The Deputy Mayor of Wokingham Borough, Councillor Carol Jewell, Councillor Richard Bush, Chairman of Wargrave Parish Council, and Councillor Marion Pope. Also, in attendance were staff and pupils across all twelve of our schools and Trustees, Governors and Central Team staff from The Keys Academy Trust.
We were delighted to be joined by St Michael’s C of E Primary School, Sandhurst and Uplands Primary School and Nursery for the first time, as they have both joined The Keys Academy Trust within the last twelve months.
This special annual event saw us all come together to celebrate the journey of The Keys Academy Trust and how it has grown since 2017. One of our core values of Partnership, was at the heart of this service. Together, we all celebrated the joys of Partnership and the power of working together for the greater good. Pupils from each school contributed in various ways by sharing poems, prayers and readings.
In line with our vision, the event was about building strong bonds within our family of schools.
We extend our sincere thanks to Crazies Hill C of E Primary School for hosting and to all who participated and contributed to this successful event. A special thanks must also go to our wonderfully, courageous and confident pupils, who all boldly stood up in front of everyone to deliver their lines, many without needing any prompts at all.
