The Board of Trustees and Local Governing Body are looking to appoint a highly effective and dedicated professional to lead St Michael’s as Head of School from April 2025. First and foremost, we are looking for an excellent practitioner to lead and inspire our pupils and staff and continue to promote our school as a centre of both academic and pastoral excellence at the heart of the community we serve. The Head of School must also be committed to help us, as a school, live out our Christian vision and values.
St Michael’s is a high performing, popular primary school with motivated pupils, a talented staff teams and committed governors. This post represents a really exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their leadership skills within a very strong and supportive network within The Keys Academy Trust. Working closely with the Executive Head Teacher, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and day to day running of the school in line with the school and Trust visions. You will have experience of Senior Leadership and be looking for the next step in your career, with the support and guidance of an experienced Executive Head Teacher.
The Keys Academy Trust is a local, primary specialist multi-academy trust comprising twelve local primary schools. We have a Director of Learning within the trust who will support curriculum development and assessment; subject leadership and developing the quality of teaching and learning within your staff team. We are looking to appoint an experienced Governance Professional to join our Local Governing Bodies. This role will be a hybrid role which will involve evening commitment for both schools.

The successful candidate(s) will have:
- Good general communication skills
- Excellent, accurate, and concise writing skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Good organisational skills – able to prioritise workload
- Excellent record keeping, information retrieval and dissemination of governing body data/documentation
- Tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity
- Ability to use appropriate IT equipment as required by the governing body
- Experience of setting up virtual meetings via MS Teams
- An ability to speak with confidence and accuracy, using accurate sentence structures and vocabulary.

St Sebastian’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an HLTA to work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to act as PPA cover across the whole school from EYFS – KS2 with a desirable, but not essential requirement, of previous experience in leading and facilitating outdoor learning or Forest School.
Duties include:
- Establishing positive nurturing relationships with pupils
- Supporting pupils with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping keep pupils on track
- Assisting with displaying and presenting pupils’ work
- Assisting with taking pupils on educational visits
General requirements:
- Experience with, or a love of, working with young people
- An awareness of commitment to equality
- Basic understanding of health and safety
