As a local well established primary specialist Trust, we were delighted to hear that the Secretary of State for Education has appointed us to run the new primary school in North Wokingham.
This will be a welcome addition to our family of nine high performing and distinctive schools which are rooted at the heart of the communities they serve. Our schools are recognised for the strength for their pastoral care and we aspire to excellent learning for all our pupils.
This new school will offer 210 places and is being constructed on land off Queens Road. Groundworks for the school have already been completed, with the buildings themselves being constructed modularly offsite.
Part of this design includes a Community Centre and the buildings are expected to be ready for community use from late summer 2021, with the timing of the school opening dependent on demand for places.
Cllr UllaKarin Clark, executive member for children’s services said that 'The Keys Trust has a track-record of providing a fantastic educational experience to children across the borough and we are delighted to be working with them again as we begin our journey to construct what will undoubtedly be a brilliant facility in a few years’ time, in line with when we expect additional school places to be required in the area.”
