Revd Hannah, Earley St Peter’s Church, and Mrs Wooller, Headteacher at Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School, were invited to attend an awards ceremony at Church House in Oxford. This was to celebrate being judged to be an outstanding school in the SIAMS Inspection earlier in the year. The plaque was presented by the Bishop of Dorchester, The Rt Revd Colin Fletcher .
The members of staff at Earley St Peter’s were particularly pleased with the comments made about the curriculum design:
“The engaging, reflective and practical curriculum means that children are excited about learning and this has a significant impact on the spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development of all learners.”
The effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school, as a Church school, was judged to be outstanding and the inclusive curriculum and ethos were recognised:
“The school, through its distinctive Christian Character is outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners.”
